By accessing or using 4ImageTools (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users.
2. The Service
4ImageTools is a free, browser-based set of image utilities for compressing, converting, resizing, cropping and removing image backgrounds. All processing runs locally in your browser; we do not receive or store the files you edit. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising and voluntary donations.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with images you own or are authorized to edit. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or interfere with the Service or the servers and networks that deliver it;
- Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the images and files you process. Because everything happens in your browser, we never take ownership of, gain access to, or store your content. You are solely responsible for the images you choose to edit and for keeping your own backups.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Results can vary by browser, device and file. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or that any particular output quality or file size will be achieved.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4Utilities and 4ImageTools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for keeping copies of your original files.
7. Intellectual Property
The 4ImageTools name, the 4Utilities brand, the site design, layout and code are the property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission. Your own images remain entirely yours.
8. Third-Party Links & Advertising
The Service displays advertising served through Google AdSense and may link to third-party resources. 4Utilities is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party advertiser or linked site. 9. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time, including to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable data-protection and consumer-protection laws, including the EU’s GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions where the Service is accessed. Nothing here is intended to limit any non-waivable statutory right you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
